Extra Lives is an adventure bloody action game with a two–dimensional design based on the now popular zombie game theme. In this game project, the developers suggest that players take control of an unnamed character and go fight hordes of monsters in a huge city overflowing with the walking dead. The game has several modes, retro design in two-dimensional design, as well as a kind of control, which you get used to pretty quickly.

The plot

The events unfold after the onset of the post-apocalypse, which occurred due to the fault of a group of scientists who developed a special virus to kill enemies in the depths of secret laboratories. During development, everything went awry, which led to the release of a deadly virus on the surface of the city. The virus immediately turned most of the population into bloodthirsty monsters, and forced the survivors to hide from a crowd of angry zombies in houses and basements. The player will take control of one of the survivors and go to the streets of the city to try to put an end to the rampage of monsters and, if possible, find salvation from this infection. And that would be all right, but his opponents will be not only the walking dead, but also other survivors, whose bloodlust can only be envied.

Gameplay

The game is an action adventure with a side view, where the gameplay is based on passing levels with dynamic battles with an army of monsters. It is worth noting that there is no standard division into classic levels in the game. Already in the first minutes, players are given almost complete freedom of action. There are a lot of options for passing the game. You can simply travel through the game world, destroying zombies and collecting supplies, trying to live as long as possible. You can complete the tasks of other survivors, getting good bonuses for it. You can try to create a team of experienced fighters in order to destroy zombies and reduce the population of looters.

The game world consists of several seamless locations. Each location is filled with a large number of interactive items, each of which the player can interact with in several ways. Different items can be used for different purposes, including for story tasks. All the streets are filled with monsters and powerful bosses, so you definitely wont be bored.
