NearEscape is a post-apocalyptic adventure set in a world destroyed by zombies.

Plot and Gameplay

The protagonist awakens in a city with obvious memory problems. Using clues and following a specific route, the character regains memories of themselves and their family.

The open world is divided into large locations with numerous buildings—it's a true modern city. The weather and time of day change in real time, providing a realistic immersion.

In this city, a few survivors explore the streets and houses, trying not to die. The zombies, spawned by a dangerous virus, are extremely dangerous and highly sensitive to sound. But there's good news: their vision is terrible. Mutant zombies, which are much larger and stronger than normal zombies, pose a particular danger.

Fighting isn't always the best option. You can take the subway or at least use a safer method of contacting the zombies, such as bombs.
