Scream Go Hero is an unusual platformer with voice control. The game is an arcade platformer developed by Ketchapp Studio, known for its original designs. The main feature of this project is the voice control system of the hero. That is, the player, instead of pressing the touch buttons, will control the main character through his voice. The gameplay turned out to be very unusual, original and quite funny. Also in the game you will find a minimalist design and excellent soundtrack.

What is the game about? 

There is no classic storyline in this game. The player takes control of an unnamed character and simply helps him pass levels packed with a variety of opponents and dangers, trying to get to the end of the level, while scoring as many points as possible. Everything would be fine, but there is one feature and it is also difficult – you can control the hero only by voice.

Gameplay

The gameplay is made in the format of an arcade platformer. The basis of the game is the passage of successive levels with different dangers. A variety of opponents and static obstacles await the player at each level. The game also has endless gameplay, where the game lasts until the hero dies in one of the obstacles or becomes a victim of the encountered enemy.

The main feature of this project is the character management system. The thing is that all commands are carried out using voice. That is, in order to force the character to perform some kind of game action, the player will have to speak this action into the microphone. But here you need to take into account that certain voice commands are made for all game actions. For example, in order for the hero to walk a little, you need to speak softly, but for him to make a jump, you need to yell. As soon as the player stops saying anything, the hero systematically falls down and eventually either falls onto the platform or disappears into the abyss.

During gameplay, you can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone, which will protect players from arbitrarily executing a command while sneezing or changing positions.
