Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is an interesting mobile toy based on the famous fighting game series of the same name. In this game project, the developers decided to combine elements of a classic strategy and an original fighting game, so that users can look at old characters in a new guise. The task of the game is to assemble a team of brave fighters and take part in a martial arts tournament. The game will delight with a familiar atmosphere, an uncomplicated plot, and simple control mechanics.

Plot

The plot almost completely repeats the story of the original game. Humanity is threatened with destruction as a result of the merger of two worlds. This happens once in a hundred years. To save people, a group of high gods organizes a deadly tournament, which involves representatives of the dark world and the human world. If people win, then their world remains untouched until the next merger. If the dark world wins, then fusion cannot be avoided. Up to this point, humanity has managed to defeat the minions of evil. The next tournament will show how it will be this time.

Gameplay

Despite the fact that the game is based on a popular series of fighting games, this project combines several mechanics of different genres: role-playing, strategy and fighting. The main task is to assemble a team of fighters and take part in a tournament where you need to defeat all opponents and their bosses. The key feature of the game is familiar characters from other fighting game series.

All the characters are presented in the form of cards. Each such card has a description, characteristics, and skills. Cards are given as a reward, bought, dropped out of chests. Before each fight, you need to think about which line-up to assemble for the current fight. Unfortunately, all battles take place in automatic mode, during which the player can only use the abilities of the characters.

Various rewards are given for winning battles, including experience for leveling up characters. With in-game currency, you can purchase new characters, as well as equipment for fighters to make them even stronger and more dangerous.

The game has a mode with battles against other players. Tournaments with valuable rewards are regularly held in this mode, including very rare players.
