RACE THE SUN is an endless crazy arcade race where the gamer has to take control of a futuristic flying–soaring transport and go into a race against time, dodging a huge number of obstacles and simultaneously collecting various useful items. The main task is to stay on the conditional track as long as possible, avoiding all kinds of obstacles, the number of which will only increase over time. The game has amazing graphics with neon elements, very simple controls and a pulsating soundtrack in the background.

Gameplay

There is, of course, no storyline here and there cannot be. This is an arcade race with endless gameplay, where the main goal is to stay on a kind of track as long as possible.

A flying-soaring spacecraft is given control, which, for the sake of a fan, is trying to catch up with the Sun rapidly sailing away from it. Of course, he will not be able to catch up with him, but he will be able to get energy from approaching him. And he needs energy, because it is his only fuel that helps him move in interstellar space. It is very important to fly so that the cosmic luminary always remains in the field of view of the ship. If it disappears, the ship will simply lose speed and eventually stop, which will lead to a loss.

The only reason why the ship may not catch up with the Sun is various obstacles in the form of flying objects. A collision with any of these objects will slow down the ship slightly, and each subsequent collision will significantly slow down the spaceship. To continue the journey, it is necessary to avoid encountering these objects. The spacecraft is moving in automatic mode and its speed is steadily increasing. The user can only adjust the direction of movement of the device, preventing it from crashing. To do this, it is enough to press the edges of the screen in a timely manner, setting the motion vector.

As a kind of survival in the vastness of the virtual world, new fantastic ships and access to valuable bonus items with interesting effects will be opened to the gamer: high speed, magnet, jump, sharp acceleration and so on. The game even has some kind of missions, completing which can significantly speed up the discovery of new ships and boosters.
