Free City: a new alternative to GTA from Asia

Mobile gaming has been booming in recent years, and more and more projects inspired by the iconic Grand Theft Auto series are appearing on our smartphones. Among the many clones and imitators, the Free City game stands out, which managed not only to copy the external attributes of GTA, but also to convey its spirit, atmosphere and depth of narration.

Unlike many competitors that offer only mindless driving and shooting, Free City immerses players in an exciting story with cinematic cutscenes, professional voice acting and interesting missions. One of the clearest examples of this is the initial task, in which the player will have to tie the leader of a hostile group to the hood and ride him. 

Graphics and interface

Excellent graphics with support for 60 FPS, dynamic races with well-developed traffic and exciting Need for Speed style challenges make the game unforgettable. Despite the lack of Russian localization, Free City is easy to learn thanks to its intuitive interface.

Gameplay

One of the key components of the Free City gameplay is exciting racing. Players have the opportunity not only to participate in dynamic competitions, but also to expand their fleet by purchasing new vehicles. The tuning process allows you to customize the car to your driving style, making it unique. Despite the fact that there are no licensed car brands in the game, the developers managed to create a number of models that look quite realistic. According to many players, the sound component has become a serious drawback. The sound of the engines in the game is often described as "stock" and "ear-splitting", which significantly reduces the level of immersion in the gameplay.

An early version of the game is available on Android in a number of Southeast Asian and Oceania countries.
