At the presentation of the new generation of chipsets, Snapdragon promised that they implement ray tracing for most games, including Tower of Fantasy. Now it has become known that Minecraft has become one of the games with support for such features. However, only in the beta version of the game with the content creator mode enabled.
Screenshots have already appeared on the network that show how the function works. However, the number of frames on them leaves much to be desired — only 6 fps.
We hope that gaming smartphones with a cooling system will be able to show more pleasant results. It is also unknown when the functionality will be available to all players on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
By the way, the screenshot that shows the ray tracing operation was taken on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 smartphone.
