Dark Forest Survivor is an atmospheric survival adventure game with horror elements and an isometric view from above. In this game, gamers will have to take control of an unnamed character who, by a tragic accident, got into a mysterious and very dangerous forest. It would be all right, but this is a creepy area that has become a haven for a huge number of monsters of different types. It is necessary to help the hero survive in this terrible place and, if possible, find a way out of it. The game received a hand-drawn design with elements of plasticine graphics, atmospheric music and exciting gameplay.

Plot

The game has a small plot telling about an unnamed character who once went on a short trip on his single-engine plane. During the trip, he flew over a strange forest where terrible things were rumored to happen. Suddenly, problems started with the planes engine, and then it suddenly stalled. The plane began to fall and soon found itself in the middle of the thickets of that very strange forest. The landing was extremely unsuccessful, but the main character was lucky enough to survive and not even get any serious injury. But his problems didnt end there. To survive, he will have to explore the forest and try to find a way out.

Gameplay

Gameplay is made in the format of an adventure horror-rpg. Taking control of the main character, who miraculously survived the plane crash, the player will have to go on a journey through a gloomy forest inhabited by scary monsters. There are two main tasks – to survive in the forest and try to find a way out.

The survival stage is made in the best traditions of classic survival games. It is necessary to explore the surrounding areas, look for supplies, resources, craft useful and not so useful items, build shelters and so on. The survival stage is closely intertwined with the stage of finding a way out, because in the process of research, the hero will somehow look for an opportunity to get out of the forest. But you need to act very carefully, because the forest hides a lot of monsters, a meeting with which guarantees the death of the hero.

When playing the game, it is worth considering that all decisions, whether it is the search for resources or the construction of some kind of building, will have consequences for survival.
