Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Classic for Android

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Classic is the second part of a fun arcade with a cute blue hedgehog in the title role. Players will once again have to go on a journey through the colorful virtual universe to enter the fight against the universal evil from the original game. Together with friends, Sonic must defeat all the monsters and restore the broken balance of power. The second part will delight you with a high-quality pixel picture, dynamic gameplay and convenient controls.

Plot

The events of the plot unfold in the same universe as in the first part. The insidious doctor Eggman intends to create a superweapon in order to destroy his enemies and enslave the planet. But blue hedgehog Sonic, along with his friends Knuckles and Tails, intend to prevent a large-scale apocalypse. Together they embark on a dangerous adventure to stop the mad doctor and destroy all his evil henchmen.

Gameplay

The game is made in a platformer format with dynamic gameplay. In terms of basic mechanics, the game has not changed in comparison with the first part. This is still the same platformer where, alternately controlling the heroes, the player must go through long levels in 12 colorful worlds, simultaneously destroying the henchmen of the evil scientist and collecting useful items.

At each stage, the hero will face many dangerous and deadly traps that need to be beaten through fast running, jumping and other abilities of the main characters. In the process of passing the levels, the heroes will visit different locations passing both on the surface and underground. Depending on the situation, the player can switch characters to solve one or another puzzle. Each hero has his own abilities, which can help both in solving problems and in destroying different types of monsters.

At the levels, you need to collect special diamonds that activate different abilities of the main characters, for example, Sonic temporarily turns on damage protection. The same abilities can be obtained by collecting standard rings.

Graphics

The second part exactly repeats the graphic performance of the original game. Everything is done in pixel format with a bright design of game levels.
