Gameplay

You roam through forests, explore islands, forage for food, and encounter other animals. The game doesn't hold your hand; instead, it grants you immediate freedom. Where to go, who to fight, and how to develop your character—it’s all up to you.

First, you must choose your kangaroo. There are several appearance options available, including gray, red, and dark-colored variants. Once selected, you are released into a vast world featuring open clearings, winding streams, rolling hills, and dense forests. Creatures are constantly roaming all around you—sometimes you’ll encounter peaceful animals, and other times, dangerous predators. If you pick a fight without being prepared, you won't survive for long.

The combat system is simple, yet brutal. Your kangaroo can attack, defend, and move with agility. You earn progression points through victories and active exploration. These points can be used to increase your strength, health, or other attributes. As a result, your character gradually becomes noticeably stronger, making the hunt much easier.

A distinct highlight of the game is its atmosphere. The world is dynamic and ever-changing. By day, everything appears tranquil; by night, the forest transforms, taking on a more eerie and unsettling tone. The weather also plays a significant role in the game's mood—shifting from bright sunshine to rain, or settling into a thick fog. There is even a full cycle of changing seasons.

While the graphics don't strive for photorealistic shock-and-awe, the natural environments are visually pleasing. The open landscapes and forest zones look particularly impressive. This game is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys relaxing animal simulators that offer unrestricted freedom and are free of constant, intrusive tutorials.
